Don't Miss Washington's Crossing Reenactment On Christmas Day
The weather looks good for reeanctors to cross the Delaware River.

The 64th Annual Reenactment of George Washington's legendary crossing of the Delaware River is all set for Christmas Day at Washington Crossing park, according to park officials.
After you and your family have exchanged gifts in the morning, head to the park – located at 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, near the intersection of state Route 532 and River Road (sate Route 32) – at 12:30 p.m. for the ceremony.
Park officials said more than 10,000 people are expected to watch the crossing, so get there early for a good view.

The actual crossing reenactment is set for 1:15 p.m., park officials said.
Hundreds reenactors will be dressed in Continental army uniforms, hear a speech from General George Washington, and row across the Delaware in replica Durham board.

Reenactors will take to the river Sunday afternoon to show the public how the Washington and the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River in 1776 to take on the Hessians in Trenton, securing a crucial victory in the Revolutionary War.
The event is free to attend.
