Doylestown Restaurant Feelin' The Vibe With Live Concerts, Drag Shows, More

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Maxwell's On Main (MOM's) is kicking off summer with night-after-night of celebrations and live performances.

Known to offer something for everyone at their bar and restaurant, MOM's extends their ethos to its programming which features regular open mics on Tuesdays, live concerts, dance parties, and drag shows. Here is your first look at their extended weekend plans.

On Wednesday, June 24, Miss Shuggenah O'Hare and her cast of drag performers tribute hometown hero and queer icon, P!NK. This timely Pride Month show is a redux of their quickly sold-out show from last November.

"Loud & Proud: P!NK Drag Tribute" is headlined by King Perk -- a Charlotte-based drag king who brings comedy, social commentary, and dad jokes galore. As a member of the first-ever cast of the all-drag king competition King of Drag, King Perka is actively touring coast to coast.

Next on June 25, DJ Ashley Rose continues her line dancing parties at MOM's. She will be teaching the steps to Jason Derulo's "Baby Slow Down to Slow Low", a popular TikTok dance. Though this particular class is for advanced dancers, there are two more chances to dance for all levels at MOM's in July.

Fridays and Saturdays are for more dancing, imbibing, and enjoying company. MOM's summer food and cocktail menuare in full swing with live DJs each night starting at 10 p.m.

On Sunday, June 28, two local indie bands - Goodwill Gold and EVA - perform in the upstairs venue room at 4 p.m. EVA opens the night, fusing jazz, soul, and rock music into her own sound. The Bucks County-based artist continues to cultivate her craft, entering her fourth and final year at Berklee, and releasing a new single in the coming days. Goodwill Gold closes the night celebrating the one-year anniversary of their album 'Words To Make You Mine'.

And if Love Island is more your speed, MOM's hosts a weekly watch parties of the wild reality series starting at 8 p.m. at their oyster bar.
