Drive-Thru Manhattan Bagel Opens At Summit Square

NEWTOWN, PA — A new drive-thru Manhattan Bagel store has opened its doors at the Summit Square Shopping Center at the Newtown Bypass and Summit Trace Road.

The 3,000-square-foot store features a drive-thru, inside and outside seating areas, elevated catering options, breakfast and lunch options, and an Espresso bar.

Renovation work began in April to transform the former Einstein Brothers Bagels location into the new store, including the addition of a drive-thru service. Einstein closed its doors at the shopping center, unable to compete without the drive-thru service.

The new store, which employs about 20 people, is owned and operated by Ross Gelman, who also operates Manhattan Bagel stores in Richboro, Southampton, North Wales and Willow Grove.

Manhattan Bagel offers a wide variety of freshly boiled and baked New York-style bagels, which are all made on-site. In addition to bagels, the menu features a selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, wraps, and fresh baked muffins and sweets made with high-quality ingredients.

"Our NY-style bagels are boiled and baked fresh every day. We fire up our grills to bring you fresh-cracked eggs, sizzling bacon, and made-to-order sandwiches."

Some of the fresh bagels you'll find at Summit Square include cheddar, jalapeno cheddar, rye, pumpernickel, plain, salt, garlic, onion, sesame, poppy, everything, multigrain, honey whole wheat, blueberry, chocolate chip, asiagio, cinnamon raisin, egg, French toast and more.

In addition, the bagel store offers a variety of spreads including Plain Cream Cheese, Garden Veggie Cream Cheese , Honey Almond Cream Cheese, Jalapeño Salsa Cream Cheese, Onion & Chive Cream Cheese, Strawberry Cream Cheese and Whipped Butter.

Manhattan Bagel is part of Panera Brands, which includes Panera Bread, Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels. It's other locations in Bucks include Middletown Township (Shoppes at Flowers Mill), Penndel, Richboro, Southampton, Warrington, Chalfont, Dublin, and Feasterville.
