Driver Faces Charges In Upper Makefield After Failing To Render Help
After striking a motorcycle, police said the driver of a Nissan Sentra left the scene without rendering assistance.
UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA - A driver who failed to stop and render assistance after striking a motorcycle will face criminal charges in Upper Makefield.
The incident happened on Sunday, Sept. 3 when a motorcyclist and their passenger were stopped at Route 532 and River Road when a Nissan Sentra struck them from behind.
After the crash, police said the driver of the Nissan opted to leave the scene as opposed to helping the two people who were on the motorcycle.

Despite their injuries, police said the motorcyclist followed the Nissan and eventually stopped its pursuit when the vehicle got onto I-295.
“We conducted an investigation, and thanks to the information provided by the parties involved and numerous witnesses, we were able to eventually identify the driver of the Nissan,” said police.
