UPDATE: Driver Killed After Striking Construction Workers On Pennsylvania Turnpike

A driver was killed and three construction workers were injured in a crash in a construction zone on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County on Saturday, police said.

The construction workers were apparently picking up cones to reopen a closed lane on Route 276 east in the Bensalem area when they were struck, according to NBC10.

One of the workers was flown to a Temple University Hospital, another was transported by ambulance to Aria Torresdale and the third worker was treated on scene, according to the report.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead around 6 a.m., according to the report.
