Driver Tripping On Shrooms Crashes In Upper Makefield, Police Say
Police said the driver hit a power utility box and plunged the neighborhood into darkness.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, Pa. — A driver tripping on “shrooms” lost control of his car Saturday night on Keith Lane and crashed into a PECO utility box on Hayhurst Drive, police said.
Somehow, police said the driver was lucky enough to not get the shock of his life when exiting the vehicle. The neighborhood, however, was plunged into darkness for a while.
The driver had not been charged as of Monday.

Also over the weekend, police reported that a car was reported stolen from the Timber Ridge development on August 6 between 1 and 2:15 a.m.
The vehicle, a silver Mercedes Benz S580, was seen leaving the area via southbound Taylorsville Road at approximately 2:25 a.m.

Police are requesting that anyone who lives in Timber Ridge to check their surveillance cameras around those times for any suspicious vehicles, persons, or for the Mercedes Benz.
