Eagles Legend To Headline Inaugural CardFest Expo In Bucks Co.

NEWTOWN, PA — Philadelphia Eagles legend LeSean “Shady” McCoy will headline the inaugural CardFest Expo, a new interactive card and collectibles show coming to Bucks County on Sunday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Newtown Sports & Event Center, 207 Penns Trail in Newtown.

McCoy will appear from noon to 2 p.m., with the first hour reserved exclusively for CardFest Expo VIP ticket holders. VIP guests will have the opportunity to meet McCoy, take a photo with him, have a photo printed on the spot and have it personally signed by “Shady.” During the final hour, McCoy will be opening a box of cards, live, on stage for all to see.

One of the most accomplished running backs in Eagles history, McCoy spent six seasons in Philadelphia and remains the franchise’s all-time leading rusher with 6,792 yards. A six-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro during his 12-year NFL career, McCoy was named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 2010s and inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame in 2024.

CardFest Expo takes the traditional card show beyond rows of vendor tables by combining buying, selling and trading with celebrity appearances, live entertainment and interactive experiences for collectors and families. The show brings sports cards and Trading Card Games together under one roof, with NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL collectibles alongside Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece.

Among the CardFest Expo attractions will be Live Celebrity Box Breaks - one of which will be opened by McCoy - where premium sports and Pokémon packs will be opened live on stage and broadcast on YouTube; dealers offering vintage and modern cards, memorabilia and hobby supplies; giveaways; and the exclusive Kids Vault, where young collectors can learn about trading, card care, valuation, grading and negotiation. A special Kids Break will also give young collectors the opportunity to take the stage and open packs themselves.

For a limited time, CardFest VIP tickets are available at the Early Bird price of $300. In addition to the exclusive hour with McCoy, VIP guests receive private entrance and early access to the show beginning at 9 a.m.; access to the private VIP area with food and beverages; opportunities to meet featured celebrity guests; reserved front-row seating for Main Stage programming; instant-win collectible giveaways; and a dedicated VIP trading area.
