DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Republican Robert Caroselli is seeking election to a six-year term on the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors. Four candidates are vying for two open seats in the General Election. They are Democrats Jennifer Herring and Judy Dixon and Republicans Trish Murphy and Robert Caroselli.

Education: I began my higher level educational career with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Community College of Philadelphia. I then continued my learning with a Bachelor's degree from Beaver College in education. I obtained my Masters degree in Computer Science in Education shortly thereafter, from Arcadia University. I then received an additional Masters degree in Educational Administration from Cheyney University.

1. Why are you running?
I am a retired principal from the School District of Philadelphia. I served the families and communities where I worked for 24 years. Now, I want to serve and protect the community where my family resides.
2. What are your top issues and how do you plan to address them?
Safety of our residents: I will work hard to ensure police, fire, and operational resources are protected and enhanced. Fiscal Responsibility: I will ensure that transparency is evident with all decisions when it come to spending. Environmental Concerns: I will work with all Board members and committees to protect every square inch of our township's natural resources.
3.What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
For the past 15 years I have been a school administrator. My responsibilities have included the safety of the school community, the operations of buildings, and the supervision of hundreds of staff. Decisions needed to be made in the blink of an eye, as well as planning a year in advance in order to have the best learning experiences for students. My working experience aligns with all the responsibilities of a township manager. I plan on keeping our standards high by streamlining operations and improving the infrastructure of our town.
