To begin with, Policemen keep us and our neighborhoods safe. They keep our roads safe by applying speed limits. If you are caught speeding, the policemen will make you pull over and write you a speeding ticket. This helps to keep pedestrians and other drivers safe. They also help people in emergencies. If you call 911, they will always respond and help. Policemen are great because they are willing to risk their lives every day. After that, Policeman often have to put themselves in danger just to protect us. Sometimes we forget that they have to work long hours and sacrifice time with their families, holidays, and sleep to keep us safe. Policemen see many sad and scary things during emergency situations and still keep working.

In conclusion, Policemen do amazing things every day all for us and they mean so much to me. It would be so different without them. We are all safer because of them.
