Historic Association to host first ever Student History Day for students in grades four to six.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Newtown Historic Association (NHA) invites families with children in the grades four to six to attend the association's first ever Student History Day to be held on Sunday, June 4 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Participants will meet at the Half-Moon Inn at 105 Court Street to learn about the history of the inn and the rich history of Newtown.
For more than 40 years, the NHA has hosted the "5th Grade Walking Tour" for local school
children. This year, instead of the tour, it is inviting children and their families to visit the Half-Moon Inn and view its "History of Newtown" timeline and display.
