Explore the World of Monarch Butterflies This Saturday

The Wrightstown Farmers Market is hosting a Monarch butterfly tagging event this Saturday during market hours, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For $1, participants can enter the Winged Wonders Education butterfly tent and tag their own butterfly. You’ll have the chance to explore the world of Monarch butterflies in the Winged Wonders pop-up butterfly house.

“You will learn about the monarch butterfly migration and the international tag and release program with hourly tagging demonstrations by Winged Wonders Education’s Ann Ward, a master early childhood educator and nature-based play and learning specialist,” according to information from the Wrightstown Farmers Market.

The Wrighstown Farmers Market is located in the Wrightstown Township municipal building parking lot, 2203 Second Street Pike.
