Fall Mommy & Me Classes

Make and Bake Saturdays (ages 3-6)

Each Saturday, Mom’s and their Little Chefs (Dad’s are welcomed too) will read stories that are devoted to a specific author, Laura Numeroff. We will follow the stories with engaging activities and fun games. The highlight of the class is the make and bake activity where children and their parents get to create or decorate food items that tie in with the story.

Week 1: If You Give a Pig a Pancake- We will flip for flapjacks and make pancakes!

Rec-or-Treat! (ages 4-7)

Hunt for candy and enjoy Halloween with fun games and activities. A spooky scavenger hunt, pumpkin bowling, and a skeleton bone toss are some of the holiday games included in this party. Snack on some ghoulish goodies and listen to some not-so-scary stories. Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume.

Turkey Scramble (ages 3-6)

Celebrate Thanksgiving with holiday themed crafts and games. We will create corn on the cob paintings and transform pumpkins into decorative turkeys using feathers and craft materials. Children will learn the Gobble, Gobble, Turkey Wobble dance! Centered activities and a popcorn snack are also included.

National Day of….. Celebrating! (ages 3-6)

Did you know that every day there is a National Day event that commemorates a theme or subject? In this class, we will commemorate National Day events with fun crafts, activities, and games. Snack is included.

National Playdough Day

Learn the history of play doh and make your own in class! Children will measure, pour, and mix basic ingredients! Use craft supplies and toys to explore your creations at activity stations. Create edible chocolate doh to snack on during the class. Please bring airtight containers to take your projects home.

National Mad Hatter Day

Wear a special hat to this class and explore the history of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Learn jabberwocky and celebrate with a Mad Hatter Tea Party.

Enter Mickey Mouse’s playhouse and learn about the history of this famous mouse. Celebrate his birthday with fun crafts and activities. Decorate Mickey Mouse themed cupcakes and play party games with special prizes!
