Washington Crossing Road Reopens In Newtown Township
A section of the roadway was closed Tuesday evening due to a fallen utility pole.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Washington Crossing Road (Route 532) has reopened in Newtown Township.
The Newtown Township Police Department closed a section of the roadway between Durham Road and Lakeview Drive on Tuesday evening due to a fallen utility pole blocking the road.
PECO crews responded to the scene overnight and removed the fallen pole. Police reported Wednesday morning that the road had reopened to traffic.
