When someone is addicted to drugs or alcohol, the disease affects the entire family. The good news is, if someone in your family is struggling, you don't have to go through it alone. You can learn from others who have walked in your shoes.
Trained volunteers from PRO-ACT will offer free information and support programs starting Thursday, Aug. 1, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Southern Bucks Recovery Community Center in Bristol and at the North Penn Community Health Foundation in Colmar. The program meets for three sessions on consecutive Thursday evenings.
The program is completely confidential — first names only — but PRO-ACT asks that you pre-register so volunteers can be prepared. Call 800-221-6333 weekdays 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. or visit http://councilsepa.org/programs/pro-act/family-education-program/
