Fawn Entrapped In Decorative Fence Freed By Upper Makefield Police
The department's latest call of nature involved a fawn trapped on Beaumont Drive.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — The Upper Makefield Police Department responded to yet another wildlife call, this one involving a fawn in a tough situation.
On Saturday, police said an alert resident summoned officers to Beaumont Drive where a fawn found itself trapped in a metal fence.
"Although the fawn was tired and had some chafing, officers were able to free the deer from the fence and she was last seen prancing happily away no worse for wear," police reported on Facebook.

It was the latest in a series of nature calls answered by the men and women of the Upper Makefield Police Force.
On June 17, police responded to a handful of ducklings who had become stuck in a storm drain. Officers helped free the ducklings who waddled on their way after taking a dip in a local pool.
