Fire Company to Celebrate 100th Anniversary With Parade

The Lingohocken Fire Company is hosting a parade from Pineville to the Middletown Grange Fair Grounds this Saturday to mark its 100th anniversary.

Two Bucks County fire organizations are celebrating their 100th anniversary together this weekend with a parade and reception in Wrightstown Township.

The Lingohocken Fire Company and the Bucks County Fire Chief’s and Fireman’s Association are both celebrating a century of service. A parade, which starts at noon, will go from Pineville to the Middletown Grange Fair Grounds to mark the occassion.

The parade will feature fire trucks, antique vehicles, community organizations, marching bands and EMS Apparatus. It will begin on Parsons Lane and head to Route 413 to Pineville.

From there, it will go from Township Line Road to Wycombe. The parade will go down Washington Avenue to Cherry Lane to Second Street Pike. From Second Street Pike, it will go down Penn Park Road to the Middletown Grange Fair Grounds, where there will be refreshments and entertainment.

The public is invited to the Fair Grounds; it is a family friendly event.
