Firefighters Warming Up The Griddles For Doylestown Pancake Breakfast
The community is invited to enjoy a breakfast of pancakes and sausage to support the local fire company on Saturday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 will be firing up the griddles for its 62nd annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 21.
The fundraiser, organized by the company’s auxiliary, will take place inside the fire hall at 68 Shewell Avenue from 6:30 a.m. to noon. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee.
The fire company has coordinated with several local businesses to assist with ticket sales. Advanced tickets are being sold at Aunt Judy's, Bagel Barrel, Evolution Candy, Nat's Pizza, Pizza Village, and Rutherford's Camera. Tickets are also available at the firehouse on Shewell Avenue.

To assist with parking and traffic flow, the fire company has arranged for free parking at the county lot located at the intersection of Union and Broad streets. A shuttle service, courtesy of the Living Hope Church, will transport guests from the parking lot to the firehouse.
The breakfast delivers a delicious pancake meal and raises funds for the fire company. It is also one of the biggest social events of the year in Doylestown.
So, how many pancakes do they typically go through during one of their breakfasts? Any guesses?
Try between 4,000 and 4,500 pancakes along with a corresponding number of sausage links.
The auxiliary organizes the breakfast, but it takes the entire fire company to make it happen, from the volunteers flipping the pancakes to grilling the sausage, setting up and taking down, and cleaning the grills at the end of the breakfast.
Proceeds benefit the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1.
