First Chance Of Winter Weather Possible In Late-Week Storm
Forecasters are eyeing an incoming storm that has the potential to bring the Philadelphia region's first dose of winter weather.

Forecasters are eyeing an incoming storm that has the potential to bring the region's first dose of winter weather later this week. A coastal storm could bring heavy precipitation, including rain, sleet and snow, overnight Thursday into Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS stresses there is currently uncertainty surrounding the details of the storm, but a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued.
In the Philadelphia region, the bulk of the precipitation will most likely be in the form of rain, Accuweather says. Sleet and freezing rain is possible. Some areas along the I-95 corridor could receive light snow at the storm's onset, according to the NWS forecast.
