A flag will be raised Sunday at Holland Summer Day Camp in honor of Shamus Digney and Cullen Keffer.

A flag recently flown over the U.S. Capitol will be raised Sunday in honor of two Council Rock students who died last year.

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA said the flag will raised at Holland Summer Day Camp in honor of Shamus Digney and Cullen Keffer.

The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. and will include more than 250 people, including Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick, Representative Scott Petri and Northampton Township Supervisor Eileen Silver.

The program ceremony will also feature the official ribbon cutting for Bobby’s Playground, a community play space built last fall in honor of Robert Edward Osterhout IV. Funds for the playground were provided through a national challenge grant from KaBOOM! and many businesses and individuals, according to the Lower Bucks Family YMCA.

“The ceremony will be a celebration of the YMCA and its positive engagement and interaction with the community in bringing people together to provide safe play areas and values-driven camp and school age programs to more than 6,000 children, youth and families each year,” the YMCA said.
