Food Truck Festival To Be Held Sept. 2 In Newtown

The “Newtown Food Truck Fest: Summer Send-Off Edition” will be held Sunday, Sept. 2 from noon to 7 p.m. at Council Rock North. According to organizers, 19 regional food trucks have been confirmed.

Food trucks will be serving up a wide variety of food and desserts.

Confirmed food trucks include: Awesome Little Cupcakes, Bacon Me Crazy, BlendLife, Brilliant Beverages, Buzzetta’s Festival Foods, DeLorenzo’s The Burg, The Cow and the Curd, Goodnoe’s Farm Dairy Bar, Jammin’ Crepes, Kono Pizza, The Little Sicilian, Mama’s Meatballs, Nick’s Roast Beef, Nina’s Waffles & Ice Cream, Philly Fry, Slider King, Tim’s Barbecue, Tower Togs, and Zaikka on Wheels.

The family-friendly Labor Day weekend event is a fundraiser for the Newtown Theatre. Parking for the event is a suggested donation of $10, with all proceeds benefiting the theatre.

Attendees are invited to bring their own blankets or chairs.

Alcohol is not permitted at the event.
