Free Expo To Spotlight Greater Newtown Business Community

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Business Association will spotlight the diverse and growing Greater Newtown business community during its 2023 Business Expo on Tuesday, April 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rafters Venue, 101 Friends Lane, Newtown 18940.

The free event will feature more than 50 informational tables spotlighting Newtown area businesses. There will be live demonstrations, speakers from the business community, foood provided by local restaurants, giveaways, raffles, prizes and more.

The Expo is designed as a Business To Business and as a Business To Consumer event offering members a chance to meet other members and learn about their services and an opportunity for the community to discover the variety of businesses that call the Greater Newtown area home.

Newtown is home to a diverse and eclectic business community including junk removal, home improvement, spas and salons, financial services, fitness and recreation, advertising, real estate, insurance, contractors, graphic design and marketing, retail, dining/food, consulting, music, art and entertainment, cleaning services, home mortgage and finance, legal, community/nonprofit, banking, health and much more.

Looking Ahead To Welcome Day

Looking ahead, the NBA will be bringing Newtown Welcome Day back to the streets of town on Sunday, June 11. The annual "Street Fair With Flair," sponsored by Capital Health, takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sycamore Street.

The community is invited for a day of live music and entertainment, food, family fun, face painting, a moon bounce, balloon bounce, balloon twisters, crafters, vendors, and much more.

“This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before with activities and entertainment for all ages,” said event organizers. “Come together with your colleagues, family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate all that makes Newtown such a special place to live, work, and
play!”

The mission of the NBA is to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business. Any business that is located in Newtown or conducts business in Newtown on a regular basis is eligible to become a member of the NBA.
