Freeze Warning Issued Across Eastern Pa.

The cold temperatures Monday and Tuesday could kill or severely damage sensitive vegetation, the National Weather Service warns.

It may be spring but there is some frigid weather headed our way.

A freeze warning will be in effect overnight into Tuesday morning across Eastern Pennsylvania. After that, a freeze watch has been issued from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning.

The cold temperatures could kill or severely damage sensitive vegetation, the National Weather Service warns.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid 20s overnight into Tuesday morning. "Widespread sub-freezing temperatures are anticipated for several hours along with a northwest to north wind at 10 to 20 mph," the National Weather Service said.

Then Tuesday night into Wednesday, more sub-freezing temperatures are expected.
