Frost Advisory Kicks Off Week Of Crisp Fall Weather In Pennsylvania
Crisp nighttime temperatures and sunny, mild days are in the forecast this week.

A frost advisory will kick off a week of fall weather in Pennsylvania that will include crisp nighttime temperatures and sunny, mild days.
The National Weather Service says a frost advisory will be in effect Tuesday from 2 to 9 a.m. in the following Eastern Pennsylvania locations: Upper Bucks County; Western Montgomery County; Western Chester; Carbon; Monroe; Berks; and Lehigh. The frost advisory extends to many counties across the state, including Allegheny, Westmoreland and Indiana.
Residents in those areas can expect overnight temperatures in the mid-30s.

"Temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 20s to lower 30s across north-central Pennsylvania to northern New England and the St. Lawrence Valley Monday night into Tuesday," according to AccuWeather.

"A frost advisory means that widespread frost is expected. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered."

Overnight temperatures will warm up a bit Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with lows in the 40s. Daytime highs are predicted to hover around the 60s during the week.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 61. North wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Monday Night: Areas of frost after 3am. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 36. North wind 3 to 6 mph.
Tuesday: Areas of frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 64. Light and variable wind.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. Calm wind.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Light and variable wind.
Wednesday Night: Patchy fog after 2am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 49.
Thursday: Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 70.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 63.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.
