George Washington Memorial Blvd. To Be Repaved In Upper Makefield
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, Sept. 16 and continue through Thursday, Sept. 26.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — A milling and paving project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Sept. 16 on George Washington Memorial Boulevard between Route 32 (River Road) and the approach to the Washington Crossing Bridge in Upper Makefield.
The daytime work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Monday, Sept. 16 and Thursday, Sept. 26, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Under this resurfacing and improvement project, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.

Maintenance activities are also scheduled on Wrightstown Road in Wrightstown and Upper
Makefield townships through Friday, Sept. 27.
Motorists are advised that the entire length of Wrightstown Road from Route 413 to Route 532 will be closed for base repairs weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 413 (Durham Road), Stoopville Road, and Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road).
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
