Giant Off Newtown Bypass Planning Beer, Wine Sales

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Giant off the Newtown Bypass is seeking approval to open a beer and wine shop at that location, the company has confirmed.

The store is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary approvals to add a beer and wine eatery to the store this year, spokeswoman Laura Jacobs confirmed.

Further specifics were not available.

Giant currently operates beer and wine shops in many of its Bucks County locations, including at its stores in New Hope and Doylestown.

Giant's local competitors, Acme and McCaffrey's, currently offer in-store alcohol sales.
