Newtown Township’s Bird Town is hosting a native plant and seed exchange on Saturday, September 21 from 8am to 12 noon, rain or shine, at the township municipal building parking lot.
Using native plants contributes to the health and often the restoration of local ecosystems. Planting natives in urban or suburban settings helps restore the character of the land and places fewer demands on limited natural resources.
If you don’t have any native plants to exchange, plants can be had for $1-2 donations. All donations benefit Newtown Township Bird Town.
