Grey Nun Academy Continues 55th Anniversary Celebration
Emerald Gala & Auction at Jericho National Golf Club Featured a Performance by Famous New York, NY Dueling Pianos and Record

May 2, 2019 (YARDLEY, PA) - More than 200 guests supported Grey Nun Academy at the Emerald Gala & Auction on Saturday, April 6 at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope, which included both a live and silent auction, full dinner, performances by the famous New York, NY Dueling Pianos, and dozens of raffle baskets. In addition, the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart were honored with a special presentation in celebration of the Academy’s 55th Anniversary.
Supporters included current and former parents, alumni, board of trustees members, prominent community members and businesses, the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart, faculty, and staff. The event raised more than $80,000 that will directly benefit Grey Nun Academy. All proceeds support the Academy’s integrated use of technology across the curriculum to support interactive learning, improvements to facilities, and program enhancements.
Mrs. Deborah Kost, Head of School, was grateful to the supporters and organizers of the event. “Throughout this academic year, we’ve celebrated our 55th milestone in a variety of ways, but the most notable was this year’s Emerald Gala and Auction. We are so fortunate to have active faculty members, parents, alumni, and donors who support our school with such tremendous support and enthusiasm. The success of this event is the result of months of hard work and dedication from our parents and our committee chairs, the proceeds of which enable our school to maintain a student-first curriculum within a state-of-the-art learning facility with one-to-one technology resources.”
