About Grey Nun Academy’s Visiting Authors Program
Grey Nun Academy offers the unique educational experience of a Visiting Authors program to benefit students and families of our school and local community. These events, which feature well-known authors and illustrators of books published in multiple genres for a variety of ages, are an extension of classroom learning as they encourage children to understand and appreciate the writing and creative process.

While much of our program is exclusively for the educational benefit of our students, Grey Nun Academy also co-hosts New York Times best selling author events in our McKenna Center auditorium that are open to the public through a partnership with Newtown Bookshop.

Last year, Grey Nun Academy was host to a sold-out event featuring author Giada DeLaurentiis, which was open to the public and enjoyed by more than 300 people from Bucks County and the surrounding area. The Academy also hosted a public event for New York Times best-selling author Elin Hilderbrand.
