Grey Nun Academy Hosting Summer Camp

Grey Nun Summer Academy (GNSA) is an opportunity for children from PreK – 8th Grade to have fun, unwind, make new friends and gain new skills in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.

"We encourage curiosity, promote leadership, applaud teamwork, build confidence, and foster respect. Summer at Grey Nun Academy offers an equal balance of creativity and learning that will provide your child with one of the most enjoyable summer experiences possible," camp organizers say.

GNSA provides children with three weeks of interactive fun and hands-on experiential activities. Each week features a new theme providing every child with opportunities to discover new areas of interest that stimulate learning.

"Our small camper-to-teacher ratio is ideal for achieving these goals. Building on the wisdom of the Academy’s more than five decades of leadership in education, summer at Grey Nun Academy draws upon the strength of our exceptional faculty and staff. Our serene and secure 90-acre campus sets a superb backdrop for the perfect camp experience for children to develop academically, athletically and aesthetically."

Three unique summer camp experiences for PreK-8th grade are available:

• Week 1 (June 13-17) – Wide World of Sports and Recreation
• Week 2 (June 20-24) – Fine Arts (culinary, drawing/painting, live performances, talent show/lip-syncing)
• Week 3 (June 27-July 1) – Nature Exploration/Animals/Physical Science

Sign up for all three or by the week of your choice.

• All weeks include interactive, hands-on outdoor and indoor activities!
• Campers have a supervised lunch and recess.

Camp Hours

Daily – 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

• Before Care – 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
• After Care – 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Cost

$300 for each camp session• $850 for three weeks

• Before Care ($50/week)
• After Care ($50/week until 4:00 p.m. $100/week until 5:00 p.m.)
