Guests Invited To Dine With George Washington In Newtown
Participants will learn about the crucial decisions and moments that shaped the nation's history while sitting down to a three-course meal.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The public is invited to sit down to dinner with General George Washington on Sept. 13 at the historic Temperance House at 5 South State Street in Newtown.
Presented by Revolutionary Crawls and Events, guests will experience a unique evening of history and fine dining inside a building where General Washington and his generals once met during the Revolutionary War.
Beginning at 7 p.m., the special evening will feature a three-course dinner followed by a presentation by a professional reenactor portraying George Washington. As guests enjoy dinner, they will be transported back in time to the days of the American Revolution.

Following dinner, Washington will bring history to life with a presentation that delves into George Washington's leadership, his encounters with his generals at the Temperance House, and the significant impact of these meetings on the fight for American independence.
