Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar Sets Target Open Date For Newtown Location

Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar is targeting December 1 as an opening date for its Newtown location, Patch has learned.

Renovations are well underway at the 6,425 square-foot restaurant and bar, located where Margiotti and Kroll Pediatrics formerly operated in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar specializes in low-calorie, seasonal food. It also boasts an extensive wine list.

According to its website, Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar offers an under 500-calorie, seasonally changing, local farm-to-table menu, plus more than 50 wines by the glass, seasonal cocktails and local beer.

"Every three months Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar changes the menu to reflect the change of the seasons. Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar works with 75 local farmers to source the freshest and highest quality products available," its website says.

Menu items include flatbreads, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, seafood, salads, sandwiches and more.

The restaurant says it prides itself on a sustainable and organic approach. That includes its ingredients, cleaning products, paper products and even recycled glass bar tops.

"We are a truly a green concept," the restaurant says on its website.
