Help Save Mama The Dog

The Cub Scouts in Pack 99, Den 1 are raising money for lifesaving surgery for Mama the dog. Mama is a 7 year old American Bulldog who was living on the streets with a homeless man. He surrendered Mama to The Crossings Animal Society when he started seeing tumors developing on her body. Once she had the tumors removed, chemotherapy and radiation were not necessary. She has been adopted by a volunteer at the Society but is in need of another surgery to remove three new tumors on her body. The Cub Scouts have been very creative and dedicated to helping Mama receive the treatment she needs. In addition to helping Mama they're learning about leadership, compassion and teamwork.
