Holiday Cocktail Trail Bringing Spirited Fun To Newtown Borough

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Newtown Theatre has announced plans for its second annual Newtown Holiday Cocktail Trail, sponsored by Johnson, Kendall & Johnson (JKJ), on Saturday, November 23 from 12 to 4 p.m.

During the event, ticketholders will enjoy sample-size holiday cocktails at a wide variety of Newtown Borough shops, where they can find the perfect gifts for everyone on their holiday shopping list.

The trail will begin at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State Street, where ticketholders will pick up their glasses and a trail “passport.” The passport will list each stop on the trail and any promotions the shops are offering that day. Passports will also highlight Borough restaurants, which participants are encouraged to patronize while traversing the trail.

“The Holiday Cocktail Trail has instantaneously become a Newtown tradition, serving not only as a theatre fundraiser but also encouraging people to shop and eat locally,” said Andrew Smith, executive director of the Newtown Theatre. “All money raised from this event will help support our non-profit theatre.”

A limited number of tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $45 per person. All participants must be 21+ to purchase tickets and participate in the trail.
