Holocaust Survivor To Speak At BCCC Event
The event, "Holocaust Witnesses Share Their Stories," will be held Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. on the Newtown campus.

Bucks County Community College is hosting a public event featuring a Holocaust survivor next week. The event, “Holocaust Witnesses Share Their Stories,” will be held Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. on the Newtown campus.
The free event will feature Holocaust survivor Danny Goldsmith and World War II veteran Bernie Lens, who will share their memories and lessons. Both are members of the Fegelson-Young-Feinberg Post 697 of the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A.
“It’s really important for our students and the community to remember the past,” said Samantha Gross, the history instructor who organized the event. “Sadly, this generation who witnessed so much history is passing away, and we are soon losing that opportunity to hear first-hand accounts of their experiences.”
