Hotel Assault, Stolen Vehicle, And A Counterfeit Bill Reported By Newtown Twp. Police
Police also placed a dump truck out of service for multiple violations and arrested its driver for not having the proper paperwork.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department reported the following incidents between June 12 and 25 in Newtown and Wrightstown townships.
On June 13 at approximately 11:12 a.m., police stopped a dump truck in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Campus Drive. Upon investigation of the vehicle, it was found to be operating without the proper registration and without insurance. The vehicle was placed out of service by an MCSAP officer for multiple violations, and the owner was arrested, processed, and charged accordingly.
Also on June 13 at 7:17 p.m., a Newtown Township resident reported the theft of packages from their porch. The incident is under investigation.

At 8:26 p.m., police were called to the Acme Market for the report of a retail theft. Police were told that a man stole two cases of beer and fled in a white Hyundai Tucson. The man was later identified and cited.
On June 17 at 11:02 am, police were called to a Newtown Township home for the report of a stolen motor vehicle, which had occurred a few hours earlier. Detectives are investigating the incident.

On June 22 at about 10:45 a.m., police were called to a business in Wrightstown for the report of a theft of services. The value of loss was $1,020.83. Police did not identify the business or provide additional details about the circumstances of the complaint.
The next day, June 23, at approximately 5 p.m., police responded to a business in Newtown Township for the report of a counterfeit bill being passed. The investigation is ongoing.
Police also reported an incident on June 25 at approximately 7 p.m. at Homewood Suites. According to the report, police were called for the report of a dispute. As a result of the investigation, assault charges are pending against a man.
