In some places, the mega bomb cyclone storm didn't produce the accumulations one would assume would be associated with such a threatening name. But in others, like the Jersey Shore, the storm exceeded expectations and a worst-case scenario played out.

The area is still dealing with the effects from the storm, which in addition to snow will include whipping winds, freezing temperatures and iced-over roadways.
Council Rock Schools are closed on Friday, Jan. 5. Pennsbury Schools are also closed and the Sophomore Formal has been postponed.
