Spring is almost here and the snow is melting. Which isn’t good news for your tires.

This time of year, you can expect potholes to pop up on local roads. Potholes develop as repeated freezing and thawing destroy durability of the pavement, causing it to crack.

Here’s how to report potholes in Newtown:

For all state owned roads: PennDot 215-345-6060, ext 4

  • State owned roads in Newtown Township include: Swamp Road, Stoopville Road, Lindenhurst Road, RT 413, RT 332, RT 532, Newtown Bypass
  • State owned roads in Wrightstown include: RT 413, Sackettsford Road, Pine Lane, Pineville Road, Rushland Road, RT 232, Township Line Road, Worthington Mill Road, Wrightstown Road, Swamp Road, Cherry Lane (from RT 232 to Washington Ave), Mill Creek Road and Washington Ave.
