Incoming Storms To Bring Change To Eastern PA Weather
The bad news: storms are in the forecast. The good news: less humid air is on the way.
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for a batch of heavy storms expected across the Philadelphia region mid-week. The storms will usher in some cooler temperatures and less-humid air, forecasters predict.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop Wednesday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service said. "Storms may produce damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding," the Hazardous Weather Outlook said. The storms may continue through Thursday.
Once the rough weather passes through, we're in store for what looks to be a pleasant summer weekend. High temperatures will drop to the low 80s by Saturday.

"Some of the storms will be marginally severe," AccuWeather Meteorologist Clay Chaney said in a news release.
Air following the storms will come in from north-central Canada, making it feel much less humid, AccuWeather said. "While daytime highs may be close to average, nighttime lows will likely be several degrees below average," Chaney said.
