It's Official: Board Approves Last Day Of School In Council Rock

It's official: the last day of school and graduation for Council Rock students is Friday, June 10.

Both high school graduation ceremonies will be held that day, but the times are different than in the past.

"Due to the fact that graduations will be held on a Friday for the first time in recent memory, and that we want to be respectful to our relatively sizable Jewish population, graduation times will be held earlier than has typically been the case in the past," the district announced in statement.

Council Rock North’s graduation will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Council Rock South’s graduation ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m.
