On July 4, there will be some trouble spots of thunderstorm activity, according to forecasters.

That day, most of the storms will occur between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. and may only last about an hour. Storms are likely in Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey, according to AccuWeather.

In addition to the risk of thunderstorms, it will be hot and humid. Daytime highs in the upper 80s and 90s with even higher heat indices are predicted through the weekend in the Philadelphia region.

The National Weather Service predicts a chance of thunderstorms daily through Sunday.
