At just $5----Village Renaissance Faire again hits the mark, only one day left- Sept 20
The donated Middletown Grange fairgrounds hosted the 16th Village Renaissance Faire and again showed what a community can achieve together.
Thousands of fairegoers saw the donated Middletown Grange Fairgrounds be converted from a beautiful, park-like setting to a medieval festival and celebration of the arts, history, and literature. Birds, dragons, fire, and aerlialists as well as rats, chickens and trebuchet launches filled the skies and beautiful songs of harps, lutes, recorders and voices filled the air. Blacksmiths, glassworkers, and spinners demonstrated the making of dragonskyn, dragon heads, royal linens, and weapons, as children played in 3 interactive playlands, that included giant chess, pyrate ship with skeleton, and Merlin’s captured air...all which highlighted the more than 50 youthful activities. Of course its hard to find tyme to do it all among the 9 stages of live entertainment, but its fun to try...one more chance on Sunday.
