Juveniles Referred To Youth Aid Panel Following Retail Theft In Newtown

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township police officers were called to the ACME Market on June 5 for a retail theft report.

According to police, the total value of the stolen merchandise was $14.78.

During an investigation, police identified three juvenile boys in connection with the incident. They were referred to the Newtown Youth Aid Panel, a diversionary program aimed at helping first-time, non-violent juvenile offenders avoid traditional juvenile or adult court.
