A special meeting will be held Monday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.
The district invites all members of the community to attend the event, which is designed to share information with the public about the project, as well as construction schedules.

Doug Taylor, CR Director of Operational Services, and representatives of D’Huy Engineering, the district's construction engineering firm, will be at the meeting.
The Council Rock School Board in March approved the construction of a new Newtown Middle School to replace the current Newtown Middle School, and also approved the expansion and renovation of the current Holland Middle School.

Both projects are scheduled to begin in Spring 2016 and finish by the start of the 2018-19 school year, according to information from the district. When the projects are complete, Richboro Middle School will close as a middle school and "an entire K-12 student redistricting is scheduled to occur," the district said.
