Perry Warren Re-elected In PA House 31st District Race

Incumbent Democrat Perry Warren prevailed over challenger Ryan Gallagher. The pair also faced off in 2016.

Incumbent Democrat Perry Warren has been handily re-elected to his seat in the Pennsylvania House representing the 31st Legislative District.

Warren, a former Newtown Borough Councilman first elected to the House in 2016, prevailed over Ryan Gallagher, a former Republican Newtown Township supervisor.

With all districts reporting in the Nov. 6, 2018 election, unofficial vote totals that have not yet been certified by the county show Warren received 20,519 votes to Gallagher's 13,722 votes.

It was the second race between Warren and Gallagher. The pair faced off in 2016 to represent the 31st District, which includes Newtown township and borough, Lower Makefield, Yardley, and wards one, two, and three in Morrisville Borough.

Warren won that race by a razor thin margin — 18,982 votes to 18,954 votes.

Warren previously served on the Newtown Borough Council. Warren is a lawyer, and co-founded his law firm, Maselli Warren, P.C., in 1998, according to his bio.

Gallagher is a Council Rock School District graduate. He is a lawyer, and operates his own private practice. He previously served as a Newtown Township supervisor, including as chairman in 2015.
