Local Disaster Emergency Declared In Wrightstown Township
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for the region from 10 a.m. on Sunday to 6 p.m. on Monday.
WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Wrightstown Township has declared a local disaster emergency from 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
During the snow emergency, residents and visitors will not be permitted to park on public roads and streets so that the Wrightstown Township Department of Public Works can safely and efficiently clear the roads of snow.
During the disaster emergency, it will be unlawful to place snow or ice onto the cartway or travel portion of any public roadway or street in the township or obstruct roadways or streets by abandoning vehicles, trailers or machinery.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, has issued a blizzard warning for the area from 10 a.m. on Sunday to 6 p.m. on Monday.
Blizzard conditions are expected with snow accumulations of up to 12 inches and winds gusting up to 45 mph. Snowfall rates could exceed two inches an hour or higher Sunday night, with locally higher amounts and significant drifting of snow possible.

Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and Monday evening commutes. Gust winds could bring down tree branches and result in isolated power outages.
