Local Musicians To Play Abbey Road Album Live At Newtown Theatre
A group of local musicians will play The Beatles' Abbey Road album live in its entirety next month at The Newtown Theatre.
NEWTOWN, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre’s “Newtown Live” concert series will present “Come Together: Celebrating 50 Years of Abbey Road” on Friday, Sept. 13 at 8 p.m.
This one-night-only event will feature a group of local musicians playing Abbey Road in its entirety—from “Come Together” to “Her Majesty” and every song in between. The band will also play a handful of other Beatles’ classics.
"Abbey Road" is The Beatles 11th studio album. It was released in September 1969 and features some of the band's most popular songs, including "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something."

According to organizers, performers for the evening include Andrew Lipke, Essie, Nate Graham, Todd MeCaughey, Andrew Napoli, Rory Geoghorgan, Ryan Lutz and several more.
Tickets are $15 per person online at TheNewtownTheatre.com or $20 at the door on the night of the show.

Beer and wine will be sold at the theatre before the show and during intermission.
The Newtown Theatre is located at 120 N. State Street, Newtown.
