Local Newtown Girl Voice Featured in "Bohemian Rhapsody"

A local Newtown girl has her voice featured in the Queen bio topic, "Bohemian Rhapsody"

We can simply say that "Bohemian Rhapsody" is one of the best movies of 2018. The movie which tells the story of Freddie Mercury and the band Queen, features the music that made up the iconic band's history. But for one girl in Newtown, it is special because she is part of it. Amanda Stone is a senior at Council Rock High School North and her voice has recently been featured in a scene in "Bohemian Rhapsody." Earlier this year, fans got the chance to sing the famous Queen song for a chance to have their voice mixed with others in a scene in the movie and Amanda plus 1,000 fans were selected to have their voice heard singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" during the Live Aid recreation scene. "It was truly a dream come true and even though I had a very small part and my voice was not clearly heard, the fact that I was in Bohemian Rhapsody is just amazing in itself and I can never thank 20th Century Fox enough." says Stone. She also added "I think it is really amazing that all of us got to hear our voices combined together to celebrate such a legend that is Freddie Mercury. I know that he would be proud of us and this movie overall."

Bohemian Rhapsody is in theaters now.
