Long Stretch Of 'Unsettled' Weather Starts This Weekend: NWS
Starting Saturday, there is a chance of rain and storms every day through at least Wednesday in the Philadelphia region.

A period of unsettled weather with repeated days of showers and thunderstorms is moving in Saturday, and will linger through the weekend and at least mid-week.

"There is the potential for locally heavy rainfall which could lead to flooding," the National Weather Service said in a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued Thursday.
According to the NWS, Friday will be another nice day with highs in the mid-80s and clear skies. The unsettled pattern moves in by Saturday, however. Starting Saturday, there is a chance of rain and storms every day through at least Wednesday.

Those with outdoor plans or who are headed to the beach should watch the forecast.
"The combination of rain and breezy conditions may seem more like a nor'easter from the spring or autumn in places such as Norfolk, Virginia; Ocean City, Maryland; Atlantic City, New Jersey; New York City and Boston," AccuWeather said in a news release.
Long-range meteorologists with that organization have been suggesting since early July that the overall weather pattern will become conducive for more rounds of wet weather in the Northeast and humid conditions along the Eastern Seaboard.
Here is the forecast:
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Light northeast wind becoming southeast 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light east after midnight.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. East wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Sunday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Monday: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Monday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
