Lt Gov Fetterman's Marijuana Legalization Tour Coming To Newtown

Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is continuing his marijuana legalization tour and will make a stop in Newtown to get residents' input.

NEWTOWN, PA — In connection with the prospect of legal recreational marijuana, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is conducting a listening tour across the state to hear from residents about the issue. And he is coming to Newtown soon to get residents' input on May 15.

Attendees are invited to share their feelings on legalizing recreational marijuana in person. If you can't attend, Governor Tom Wolf has set up an online feedback form where residents can submit their feedback on legalizing recreational marijuana.

Fetterman will bring his tour to Bucks County Community College on May 15.

The event will be held form 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the school's Zlock Performing Arts Center.

"We want to hear what you think about recreational marijuana. Are you for legalization? Against legalization? What are your thoughts and concerns?" the page says.

The feedback form includes a portion for residents to say if they are for or against legalizing marijuana for recreational purposes. They then can elect to elaborate on their position in 5,000 characters or less.

Philadelphia is one of the latest stops on Fetterman's tour. So far, he has made 60 stops across the state to learn constituents' opinions.

Bucks County Community College is located at 275 Swamp Road in Newtown.
