Lunch At 1989 Prices Starts Wednesday at the Pineville Tavern

Starting Wednesday and going through the end of the month, enjoy 1989 prices on some lunch items.

Dine like it's 1989 starting this Wednesday at the Pineville Tavern.

From that day through the end of the month, the popular Bucks County restaurant will be selling a handful of lunch menu items at 1989 prices. The deals are being offered to mark the day the current owners purchased the tavern

According to the business, the Abruzzese family purchased the 18th century hotel and inn from the Turner brothers on Jan. 11, 1989. To celebrate that milestone, the tavern has once again decided to turn back the clock and give customers the chance to enjoy a handful of lunch menu items at prices from 28 years ago through the end of the month.

  • Snapper Soup for $1.75
  • Half Pound Cheeseburgers for $4.75
  • Homemade Ravioli for $3.75
  • Prime Rib French Dip for $5.25

“This is a landmark year for our family and for the tavern, and we decided to mark it in a big way to show our appreciation to our loyal customers who’ve supported us all of these years,” said General Manager and Executive Chef Drew Abruzzese.

This is the second year in a row the historic eatery has offering its 1989 pricing to commemorate the transfer of ownership.

“The price rollback was such a big hit last year that we decided to do it again this year. Our customers really got a kick out of it,” Abruzzese said.

The Pineville Tavern is located at 1089 Durham Road in Pineville (on the border of Wrightstown and Buckingham townships).
